March 24 - Day 1- Depart USA
Overnight flight to Madrid.

March 25 - Day 2- Arrive Madrid (3 nights Madrid)
Welcome to Madrid, the Spanish capital city!  Time to relax and meet with your tour director for a welcome briefing.

SpainMarch 26 - Day 3-   Madrid  - Concert – After breakfast enjoy a Madrid sightseeing tour along the wide tree-lined avenues shows us the Cervantes Memorial in the Plaza de España, the Puerta del Sol and we walk to see the magnificent Plaza Mayor.  Afternoon Concert.

March 27 - Day 4 – Toledo Morning excursion to Toledo to visit the Synagogue, the Church of Santo Tome and a local steel workshop.  This afternoon we return to Madrid for an afternoon Concert. 

SpainMarch 28 - Day 5- Madrid – Cordoba – Seville (2 nights Seville).  After breakfast we travel to Cordoba where we visit the Mosque of the Caliphs and learn of the Moorish history of the region. Then we continue to our hotel in Seville where tonight we enjoy an authentic local bodega meal.


SpainMarch 29 - Day 6- Seville
Our sightseeing tour takes us through the tree-lined streets of Seville to see the Bell Tower and weather vane of the Giralda. We will also see the pools and fountains of the Maria Luisa Park and Christopher Columbus’ tomb and continue with a walk through the Jewish quarter. Tonight, experience a little Spanish passion at a fiery Flamenco show.

March 30 - Day 7- Seville – Granada  (1 night Granada)
A scenic drive takes us to Granada to enjoy a sightseeing tour of the most important sights in Spain, the Alhambra Palace. Our tour of this magnificent example of Moorish architecture shows us the exotic water gardens of the Generalife, the views over the town and the surrounding hills. Tonight, we enjoy a Dinner of local specialties in a typical restaurant of this hilltop town. 

SpainMarch 31 - Day 8- Granada – Valencia (1 night Valencia)
Via the Mora Pass, we soon arrive at the Troglodyte dwellings of Guadix. Time to take pictures before continuing to Valencia, renowned for its orange groves, where our orientation tour shows us the Bull Ring, the great Cathedral and the Towers of Serrano and Cuarte.

April 1 - Day 9- Valencia – Barcelona (2 nights Barcelona)
First through the Levant region to Peñiscola on our way to Barcelona for a late afternoon concert after lunch. 

Leaving SpainApril 2 - Day 10- Barcelona – After breakfast, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour, highlighting the fantasies of Gaudi, the Ramblas, the Plaza Catalunya and a walk through the Gothic quarter with its magnificent Cathedral.   This afternoon, time to shop in the chic along Diagonal.  Tonight, enjoy a special Farewell Dinner.

April 3 - Day 11 Barcelona – USA 
Time for final goodbyes to Spain, your fellow travelers and Tour Director as our tour ends.
