Thursday, February 17: Evening nonstop flight from Washington Dulles to Paris.
Friday, February 18: Morning arrival in Paris, transfer to your hotel located on the West Bank near Jardin du Luxembourg and Notre Dame, which are just a few minutes’ walk away... The Louvre and Eiffel Tower are not far. After checking in to your hotel, transfer to a local French school for an early afternoon concert, followed by an evening concert.
Saturday, February 19:
Today, after breakfast enjoy a city sightseeing tour. Your tour will give you the unique opportunity to discover Paris, its history and its major landmarks including: Place de l'Opera, Place de la Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triumph, Place du Trocadero, Eiffel Tower (photo stop), Invalides, Pont Neuf, Bastille Square and the new Opera House, Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, Luxembourg Gardens and Saint-Germain des Pres and much more! Evening concert in a small jazz establishment on the Left Bank.
Sunday, February 20: After breakfast today, prepare to cruise the waters of the River Seine before enjoying a unique view of old Paris from the canal Saint Martin. See many of the major attractions of Paris from the water including Notre Dame and The Louvre. This cruise on the River Seine and the canal Saint Martin gives a unique view of Paris. You will experience both the grandeur of the Seine and the quiet intimacy of Paris' network of inner-urban canals, created by Napoleon Bonaparte in the early 1800s. Along the way, your informative guide-interpreter will provide illuminating insights into the history of Paris and its canals. Your River Seine cruise begins near the Musee d'Orsay and sweeps you past a parade of monuments: the Louvre Museum, the Institute of France, the spires of Notre Dame Cathedral and tiny Ile Saint Louis, before arriving at the entrance of the Canal Saint Martin.
